Curious George Live

Curious George Live! is a fun and exciting way to introduce children to live theater.  Like the book series and television’s CURIOUS GEORGE®, this Curious George Live! production features timeless lessons for all ages.  Through the lights, sounds and excitement of this musical Broadway-quality production, children will learn lessons in geography, teamwork, friendship, music, language and culture, while being exposed to live theater. 
 

• Curious George Live! reinforces the educational philosophy of the CURIOUS GEORGE television series by taking advantage of children’s natural curiosity and using Curious George to motivate children to expand their own investigations of the world, offering the perfect vehicles for introducing children to key concepts in math, science and engineering.

• The storyline encourages children to expand their vocabulary and embrace cultural differences. In Curious George Live!, CURIOUS GEORGE® discovers the power of the ‘Return to Sender’ postage stamp and ships himself from the familiar comfort of N Avenue to the bustling streets of Rome, Italy. Children will be introduced to Italian culture and vocabulary words. The show also teaches children that music is a universal language.

• In addition, the storyline includes a science lesson in geography; specifically, the relative distance between two countries on opposite sides of the world.

• The storyline helps children recognize that there are a variety of effective approaches to solving problems, such as asking questions, piecing together information, and trial and error. The show encourages children to be persistent and communicate their thoughts and ideas.
