What can I expect at a Curious George Live show?

Curious George Live provides a unique musical opportunity for you and your child. As a child's first theatrical performance, it marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of enjoying and learning through live performance. Here are a few things to remember as you plan your visit.



  • Most children are familiar with entertainment that happens on television and computer monitors. Explain that this will be different, because there will be a story happening live in front of them. The story doesn't stop if you leave the room, but there will be a break in the middle.


  • Have fun! Sing along, dance, clap, and join in the audience participation elements. But, be safe as well as considerate to those around you. Please don't allow your child to stand on chairs or put your child on your shoulders.


  • Talk about the show afterwards. Which character was your child's favorite? Do you remember some of the songs? Did you learn any new words? Reinforce the show's educational and value lessons.
How long is a typical performance?

Curious George Live is a 90-minute musical production (including one 15 minute intermission) featuring a dynamic soundtrack, choreography, and dazzling lights and special effects.
How early should I arrive?

Allow ample time for traffic, parking delays, and entrance to the venue. Once you arrive, you may want to take your child to the restroom and get any refreshments in order to be seated and ready by show time.
Can I bring a camera?

Yes, we wouldn’t want you to miss the opportunity to capture this special moment in a child's life! However, professional photography and videotaping are strictly prohibited without prior written consent from VEE Corporation. Even if your camera gear appears professional, you may be asked to take it out of the performance space.
Will there be merchandise sold at the show?

Yes, we offer Curious George Live souvenirs for sale in our concession stands. Products range from Curious George Live-branded character plush to twirly lights to special Program books that children enjoy as a remembrance long after the show is over. Souvenir prices range from $5 to $25.
Is my child old enough to see Curious George Live?

The specific appropriate age range for children is 2 to 8 but, as a live stage experience, Curious George Live is shared and enjoyed by the entire family. We witness children with their parents and grandparents, all coming together at our productions.
At what age do I need a ticket for my child?

All children who have reached their first birthday require a ticket. Please check with your local venue to see if children under the age of one require any special ticketing requirements.
How do I receive a presale password to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public?

In order to receive presale passwords you must be registered as a Favorite Friend.  To sign up, please click here and enter your information.  Once you have completed the double opt-in process by clicking on the confirmation email you will promptly receive a message containing a password that you can use to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the public.
How can I redeem complimentary show vouchers?

Show vouchers are redeemed exclusively at the venue box office. A maximum of 10 vouchers may be redeemed at one time. Please contact your local venue for box office hours.
Will Curious George Live donate to my charity?

A typical donation, when approved, is a family 4-pack of tickets. Please contact us closer to the engagement with your request, preferably 3 months before the opening night performance.
